I work eclectically from a post-modern paradigm with the premise of multiple realities, social constructionism and systemic thinking. My therapeutic conceptualization is drawn from a multitude of theories and therapies including the following:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
I enjoy working with a variety of people from a multitude of backgrounds and cultures. I believe it’s important to be flexible as a therapist and understanding of different belief systems and values.
I have a special interest in self-worth, authentic self-expression and relationships. I believe there is a connection between mind and body and focus on overall health and well-being. Self-care, boundaries and personal growth are all fundamental aspects of emotional and mental health.
Currently, I work with adolescents, adults and couples. I also offer family therapy. I deal with a variety of human experiences and difficulties including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties and stress-related difficulties. I also work with trauma, childhood themes, grief, emotional neglect, low self-worth and struggles with identity and loss of self.
