I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Fourways, Gauteng. I completed my undergraduate BA degree in Child Psychology (cum laude) at the University of Johannesburg. I then completed my BA Honours Degree in Psychology (cum laude) at the University of South Africa. During my training I worked as a telephonic counsellor and lay counsellor. I completed my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of South Africa which is a two-year course including experience at a community clinic, family advocate and university psychotherapy clinic. Following the completion of my Masters Degree I completed a year internship at Sterkfontein Psychiatric Hospital in Krugersdorp. Following my internship, I completed my year of Community Service at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital in Newclare.
I believe in tailoring therapy for the needs of the individual, couple or group. I work eclectically from a post-modern paradigm with the premise of multiple realities, social constructionism and systemic thinking. My therapeutic conceptualization is drawn from a multitude of theories and therapies including the following:

I enjoy working with a variety of different people. I have a special interest in creativity, developing potential, art, exercise, nature, animals and spirituality. I believe the mind, body and spirit connection is intrinsic to our personal growth, healing and happiness.
Currently, I work individually with adults, couples and adolescents.
